I found the problem. When you are running Joomla on different language than English, you must create a special folder on designs/your-style/buttons. In my project I had created folder named lt-LT

Post Re: Couldn't see buttons

I have installed Joomla 1.5.9 and Joo!bb 0.7.7; using the default styles of the two applications, the site does not show the buttons "submit", "preview" and "cancel".
How can I fix this?
Thanks to all

I have installed the Italian version of Joomla but ... where can I find the "designs/your-style/buttons" path?
I tried to look for it under "components/com_joobb/designs" but at this point I do not find any folder called "your-style"...

Italian for Joomla and English for Joo!bb (I think):
I downloaded Joomla from the Italian site (and I am sure that Italian is the language used by Joomla), while I have downloaded Joo!bb from this site (so I think it is the English version and use the English language)

I tried to set English as the language for the frontend of Joomla and the buttons appeared "magically" ...

ciao Mauro! ho lo stesso tuo problema con questo componente di joomla.
sei riuscito a risolverlo in qualche modo?
E' vero che cambiamdo lingua in frontend i pulsanti si vedono, ma poi alcune scritte (tipo modulo login) mi restano in inglese e la cosa non mi piace molto.
Sai dirmi qualcosa in più?

Post Found a workaround to have the buttons in other languages

Hi there,

I had the same problem, I am using Joomla in French language. Using what was said before in this post, here is what I did to solve it for the moment, as the solution would be to translate de templates Wink

In the following directories :
joomla/components/com_joobb/designs/buttons/my_template
joomla/components/com_joobb/designs/emotions/my_template
joomla/components/com_joobb/designs/icons/my_template
joomla/components/com_joobb/designs/template/my_template/language

where "my_template" stands for the template I use (actually, I am using aqua_gloss)
I have created a directory called fr-FR and I have copied in these directories the files that are present in the en-GB directories.

It works quite well and all the missing buttons now appear. The only problem (which is a minor one) is that all the buttons, of course, are in english.

I hope this will help.
Regards.
